All guests to the constituency workplaces of Sir David Amess’ successor are topic to “rigorous” background checks and physique and bag searches, advisers stated.

Sir David was stabbed to demise as he met constituents at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, October 15 final 12 months.
